Description Due to Madrenice’s coastal location, the local cuisine heavily features seafood harvested from the waters around the city. Most of the species of Madrenice consume seafood of one sort of another. The humans enjoy grilled fish and lobster, whereas other dishes - such as shrimp, scallops, and caviar are common appetizers at dinner parties and other social events held among Madrenice’s upper class. The fae who have ended up in the Fae Slums, often make due with whatever often unidentifiable fish they can find or buy, and a few worn vegetables or stale bread if they are lucky. The anglers catch sea life that passes through their territory, which they usually eat raw with little preparation. The automata do not eat, although fish oils are used as a lubricant to make sure an automata’s clockwork runs smoothly.
